Miss Madison

Jim McCormick was not a Madison native nor did he ever live in Madison. Schumacher tried to challenge front-running McCormick but, in so doing, blew his engine and went dead in the water. So with all my critiques of the movie, one might be wondering of my opinion of the movie. The highest finish in was a second place in the Suncoast Cup on Mccotmick Bay.

Gentleman Jim McCormick, the Gold Cup-winning driver of the community owned Miss Madison, was a close personal friend of mine for 29 years. Mechanical difficulties defied the efforts of pilot Milner Irvin.

Now retired as a driver, Mike made the transition to crew chief with ease.
